Olympus Stylus 1

Olympus has unveiled an impressive Stylus 1 camera housed in an SLR-like body similar to the preceding OM-D EM-5 model.  The main point of attraction here is the premium superzoom ring that Olympus has ingeniously attached to the OM-D body. Housed within the magnesium alloy body is a 1/1.7″-type BSI-CMOS sensor that provides an equivalent focal length of 28–300 mm. Equipped with a plethora of features like a high resolution electronic view finder, a ‘hybrid’ control ring, Wi-Fi enabled functions, a tilting touchscreen LCD, in-camera RAW processing capabilities, and 1080p movie recording functions, this state-of-the-art gadget is a versatile option for the prosumer photographer. The Olympus Stylus 1 will be available just in time for Christmas at select retailers for $700 USD.

KangaROOS‘ Coil R1 silhouette continues its revival this year, this time being considered by a pair of Dutch identities. Sneaker shop Royal and rapper Fresku have aligned their visions to create a fresh rendition of the Coil R1, executing the sneaker with a predominantly black upper and light blue accents. The shoe features premium suede panels at the sides of the toebox, heel counter, and lace area, which is balanced by breathable mesh at key areas around the foot. Custom animations on the insole and brand hits at the tongue and heel give the sneaker a unique edge.
